As Ramadan is the only month where Muslims all over the world influence altogether towards the worship of the ALLAH. Therefore, Ramadan of this year 2020 would play a very pivotal role. The worships of Ramadan and grand prayers of all Muslims would make ALLAH be graceful on us and Insha’ALLAH we will get the grace of the Lord. after, Ramadan the effect and disease of this virus will become very futile.

What should be done in Ramadan 2020

ALHAMDULILLAH… ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّٰهِ

We have reached to the holy month of Ramadan where many wished the same but couldn’t avail this blessing. We are, indeed, very lucky to have the opportunity of earning 70 deeds by doing only one, getting the reward of Fard salah by performing sunnah and earning the reward of sunnah by making nawafils.

However, yet those are the worst losers who just waste these very precious days by doing nothing but backbiting what is highly forbidden in this very holy month of Ramadan. Moreover, those are also unfortunate people who are not performing the obligations of this holy month.

Maulana Muhammad Ali said:

“The real purpose of fasting is to attain righteousness. A person who undergoes hunger and thirst, but does not behave righteously, has done nothing. If someone is told the aim and object of doing a certain duty, and he does that duty but does not attain the required aim and object, it is as if he has not done that duty.”

The importance of Ramadan from the Quran

“O you who believe, fasting is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, so that you may guard against evil.” (The Holy Quran, 2:183)

The importance of Ramadan from the Hadiths

Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:

When Ramadan enters, the gates of Paradise are opened, the gates of Hellfire are closed and the devils are chained.”

(Al-Bukhari and Muslim)

Abu Hurayrah reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:

Every action a son of Adam does shall be multiplied—a good action by ten times its value, up to 700 times. Allah says: With the exception of fasting, which belongs to Me, and I reward it accordingly. For, one abandons his desire and food for My sake.

(Al-Bukhari)

There are two occasions of joy for a fasting person: one when he breaks his fast, and the other when he meets his Lord, and the (bad) breath (of a fasting person) is better in the sight of Allah than the fragrance of musk.

(Al-Bukhari)

What if it is your last Ramadan of life?

The blessed month of Ramadan 2020 in the crisis of Coronavirus is around us; it is time for worship a lot and soul purification. On the other hand, life has become very fragile in the contemporary run. Again, we are so lucky to meet this month of Ramadan into our life. Who knows next year would bring this chance to us or not. Thus, it is highly imperative to do nothing but worship only and get the consent of Almighty ALLAH, the creator of this world and hereafter. Consider this as your last Ramadan and worship like that before it’s too late.

May ALLAH forgive us and protect us all from the crisis of each and every kind. And shower his blessings towards us.
