No book is generally required for current affair paper in CSS Exam.
Daily reading of any Newspaper esp. Dawn newspaper is considered the bible of CSS and PMS Exams.
However, IR paper-2 is another current affairs paper but that is solved on the terminologies of International Relations only. Therefore, IR subject is really important for Viva voice and CA paper as well.

Pakistan Affairs
Onwards 2016, Pakistan papers are also made on the basis of the current scenarios. In some cases, you won’t differentiate between CA and PA paper. Thus, Newspaper reading is also essential for this paper nowadays.
For the history portion, any history book can be followed.
While Political Science and Public administration subjects topics are collapsed with that of PA subject topics.
